A Lesson on Shower Screens

So many things you have to think about when building a house and doing colour selections, so many things that come back and bite you in the bum.

Here is a tip, if you are raising your tiling to 2100mm and your shower heads to 2000mm, make sure you ask to raise your shower screens to 2100mm also.  I know they come in this height, because I asked the shower screen manufacturer before I got the tiling height raised.

I am sure, sure sure I asked at color selections about the shower screen height. However after reading through the colour selections very carefully it is not mentioned. I have read through the whole of our contract and the height of shower screens is never mentioned. Just "Standard fittings" so I am sure the 1800 high shower screens fall into that category.

Just another lesson learnt and hopefully passed on to you the reader.

How stupid does that look!

Stunningly ridiculous - Hubby said the shower screen would hide some of the tiling issues. Well it certainly does....

I've got so many photos of the toilet, but tonight is the first night that I have noticed it... can you pick what is wrong with this picture?

Yeppers the window is totally off-centre. *sigh* Do I ask for it to be fixed? or do I just give in and get the house?
